Pink Ribbon Tennis Classic

Where: Sea Colony Tennis
Description of event: The Pink Ribbon Tennis Event will be held at the Sea Colony Tennis Center in Bethany Beach, Delaware on Friday, October 3, 2008. The Tournament is a women’s doubles round-robin. The entry fee of $45 per player inc ludes a continental breakfast, lunch, tennis, and match balls. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Programs.

Advocates of Hope Statewide Summit

Drive-Thru Flu Clinic
Date: 10/23 - 10/24

Organization Presenting Event: Peninsula Regional Medical Center
Where: Arthur W. Perdue (Shorebirds) Stadium at the intersection of Route 50 and Hobbs Road in Salisbury, Maryland.  
Description: Vaccinations will be administered to individuals 13 years of age or older.  A physician’s order is not necessary.  A donation of $7.00 per vaccination is requested (cash only; exact amount is appreciated.) Flu vaccinations are encouraged for persons over the age of 65, people with heart or lung disorders, immunosuppressant diseases or diabetes.  Participants are encouraged to wear a short sleeved shirt that will provide easy access to the upper arm.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
